When advancing efficiency of steam system, there is a thing to be considered as "steamy quality."
Specifically, it is indicated by moisture amount (amount of condensate) contained in steam, and are shown by "degree of dryness", or "degree of moisture."
Therefore, high quality steam is steam with high degree of dryness as much as possible.
Condensate in steam transport pipe is generated by heat release. If boiler does not have overheating machine, steam from boiler has usually about 2 or 3% of moisture.
Moreover, carry-over from boiler also occurs.
Therefore, while removing condensate enough by steam header immediately after coming out of boiler, by the time it arrives at a using place, it is necessary to remove condensate as promptly as possible.
