Yoshitake
The Directive on the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substance in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS Directive) prohibits the use of hazardous chemical substance in electrical and electronic product, including computers, communication device, and household electrical appliances, in the European Union (EU). This directive is intended to minimize substances of concern and the risk of adverse effects on human health throughout the life cycle of products, from production to disposal.
To be specific, the use of six substances - lead, hexavalent chromium, mercury, cadmium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) used for fire retardants, and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) - is restricted.
Since July 2006, products containing a specific quantity of any of the abovementioned substances have not been sold at all in the entire EU according to the RoHS Directive.

* For our products, lead of less than 4wt% in copper material, contained as alloy ingredient, falls into exemption.
Various Yoshitake products which do not contain parts and materials restricted by RoHS Directive are available.Please note that Yoshitake does not warrant that the six hazardous substances defined by RoHS Directive do not adhere or interfuse to our products, packaging materials and submaterials (graese, adhesive agents, and etc.)
Also please note that the tables below do not show the products that meet restriction of 10 substances (including DEHP, BBP, DBP, and DIBP) by RoHS to be compulsory from July 2019.
